Cognitive abilities rely on the concerted action of several brain regions interconnected through white matter. These connections are known to be abnormal in patients with temporal lobe epilepsy, the most common form of localization-related epilepsy, yet not all patients display the same degree of cognitive deficits. In our work we show the link between brain network characteristics and cognitive performance in patients with this disorder.
